Microsoft Dreams of a Live Mesh
In this new millennium, our lives are becoming increasingly digital, thanks to proliferation of devices — from MP3 players to digital cameras to cell phones and of course computers. The challenge is to keep a handle on the data on these digital devices and the software programs that go with these devices. Microsoft thinks it has the answer, and it is called Live Mesh.
The much-talked about technology is a service platform that allows users to manage and access different devices, share and synchronize files and stay in touch with others from any computer by using the Web as a hub. Live Mesh users can, for example, access photos on their mobile phone from their computer and make them available to friends by placing them in a shared folder. In order for devices to talk to each other, you need to install Live Mesh software.
is also possible to follow a newsfeed that informs the user about the activities taking place in their Live Mesh; the status of different devices, the use of different files and people using them. People who share a folder can also chat with each other. In a demo given to us, Live Mesh seems well designed and easy to use. In a blog post, Microsoft gives all the details on the product.

CJ GoogleBot Script Activity
The CJ GoogleBot Activity script is included on any of your web pages (works best for database driven or dynamic websites). The included script will execute whenever GoogleBot is on the prowl.
When GoogleBot crawls the page it is logged; the date, robot, crawler and page crawled. You can then view your log file via an admin interface which allows you to sort the log either in ascending or descending order, export the log; to a 'textarea' (ready for cut and paste), clear the log; which required an admin password, and of course browse the log; from page to page. This script is a must have for any web designer out there that is trying to market their site with Google in the best way possible.

It’s a bit over the top… well… for a contact form that is. But yesterday morning I decided that I wanted to have a little fun so I put together an unobtrusive AJAX contact form (works even with JavaScript disabled). Feel free to send me a line. It’s a lean mean, contactin’ machine

Ajax Star Rating ( Wordpress , blog )
This is a rating bar script done with PHP and mySQL that allows users to rate things like can be done on Netflix or Amazon, all web 2.0-like with no page refresh.
It is a major improvement on the previous version because it is now unobtrusive, meaning that if Javascript is off it will still work (although the page will refresh). You can also set the number of rating units you want to use (i.e. 4 stars, 5 stars, or 10 stars) on a rater to rater basis (see samples below or read the docs). A few other changes were made as well - see the docs for details. Note that this script isn't tied to any specific system (such as WordPress), so you should be able to adapt it to your situation without too much trouble.

Online CSS menu Creator
